The Matthew 25:35 ministry is committed to providing for the basic needs of refugees in Turkey and other countries in the region. These basics include food, shelter, housing, medical care, and more.
Many of our team members have first-hand experience of the challenges refugees face in Turkey. Now we are positioned to lend a hand to others in that difficult and uncertain situation.
We believe that it’s our calling to share the gospel of Christ with these precious people in both word and deed. In particular, we focus on providing basic necessities to those who have just arrived in Turkey and lack resources.
In the case of Iranians, they may flee from Iran as a result of intense persecution and discrimination they have suffered under the Islamic Republic. Their government does not permit citizens to enjoy basic human rights and freedoms that are taken for granted in the West. Many citizens that face the threat of imprisonment, torture, and execution by the government make the difficult decision to leave their country behind in order to protect the safety of their family and loved ones. However, what awaits them on the refugee journey to find asylum is full of intense losses and challenges. It is in this desperate situation that we seek to show them God’s love.

Asylum seekers flee their homes in search of security and a better future, often finding themselves in vulnerable conditions without easy access to medical and pharmaceutical services. This exposes them to health risks and preventable diseases.
Finding a place to live is a primary and critical need for asylum seekers in a new country. Our Housing Services address this fundamental requirement, offering support in securing accommodation to help asylum seekers navigate the challenges of starting anew in a foreign land.
Asylum seekers, having lost their homes, families, and jobs, face difficult conditions. Access to sufficient and healthy food becomes crucial for their well-being. Research indicates that refugees often lack access to adequate and suitable food, leading to negative effects on their health and growth.
